Democracy has been a persistent theme at the Center on Organizational Innovation. From the fall of the Berlin Wall and the subsequent transformation of Eastern Europe to the emergence of digital technologies at the turn of the 21st century, COI researchers have investigated the changing forms of democratic engagement, learning, and resistance. This public event celebrates the center’s legacy of innovation and democratic exploration.
In its quarter-century of groundbreaking research on new forms of collaboration, communication, and coordination afforded by emerging interactive technologies the COI has been an intellectual home for more than 60 PhD students and hosted more than 50 Visiting Scholars from all parts of the globe.
